Jan Janssen - Mod. Shimano 600 EX

About this bike

Back in the days the Jan janssen 600EX was positioned just below the top model the 'Tour de France' in the Jan Janssen line up.  Equipped with a reliable and good looking shimano 600EX  and a frame made out of a Reynolds 531C tubes it was a more then reliable and good alternative to the Italian bikes that started to flooding the bike market back in those days.

I Bought this bike from the first owner, who've told me that he only used it for a couple of weeks. He got a job in Germany and forgot about the bike. So it hang a good 30 years in his garage. I only have replaced the braking rubbers, the rest is completely original. The bike has almost no damages, only the shimano 600 waterslide decal on the toptube of the non drive side has released a lil bit.
