Gazelle Champion Mondial AA special 1993

About this bike

The gazelle AA special was the top model in the Gazelle hierarchy. In the 80 & 90's these were probably on of the best bikes that money could buy. Quality wise these bikes were better then their Italian counterparts. This one here has also some of the extra options that were possible;  extra bottle fixing in the seat tube, fixing for a pump, and the chromed rear stays and dropouts. Only option that is missing is the chromed front fork.  Frame number is 3292600 which indicates 1993.

The bike is in a exceptional good condition. It has almost no visible damages. The first owner really cared about his gazelle, and you can see that, it has almost no visible damages except some small paint flaws. This gazelle Champion Mondial is an very well preserved example of the late 90's build Champion Mondial's. In the Gazelle hierarchy this was the top of the bill. Exactly these frames were used by a lot of pro team during the 90's. The frame itself is made out of sturdy Reynolds 531C tubes and decked out with a the last generation of the Campagnolo Record group. The paintjob on this bike is still in a very good condition and a typical 90's design. The chance that you will find another one is almost none.
