Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra Team Telekom 1991

About this bike

This Eddy Merckx team Telekom road bike is probably one of the most famous models of the well known manufacturer Eddy Merckx. Back in the late 80's Eddy Merckx started to produce the famous Corsa Extra frames. A lot of Professional teams used these particular frames. For example team Motorola (Lance Armstrong), Telekom, Kelme, Panasonic and ADR. This bike is from the very first year of the Telekom Racing Team which later on renamed itself to the famous Team Telekom.

The frame and the fork of this Eddy Merckx are made of the very lightweight and durable Columbus SLX steel tubes. The bike is furthermore equipped with a campagnolo Chrorus group which was almost the best you could afford back in those days, positioned just below the Record line in Campagnolo's hierarchy. I've replaced all the cables. Also the tires and the chain are new.
