90's Basso Loto SLX

About this bike

Cicli Basso is an Italian  brand that was founded by Alcide Basso in 1977.  In the Basso hierarchy this was the top of the bill and the best that they offered. This particular bike is even more rare since it was custom made/painted for the cycling team of a former bike shop in Haarlem.

Last owner bought the bike somewhere around 1990. It is still in a good condition and has almost no visible damages. The frame itself is made out of Columbus SLX tubing and has some beautiful details such as the special seat binder construction The bike is decked out with the last generation of the Dura Ace 7400 group, except the brakes which are 600 Ultegra's. It also comes with a very rare Roval aero wheelset which still is in a pretty good condition. These wheels are pretty rare especially in the clincher version. Paint is still in a good condition and is really shiny. The groupset itself is in a good condition and and also still shifts perfect. Shifters have some wear as you can see in the pictures.

Bike has been completely rebuild/refurbished. New tyre's, handlebar tape, cables, etc.. Only used once for a test drive, rides great 🙂
